Jocelyn Dantini, MS, RD, LDN

Jocelyn specializes in nutrition therapy for individuals affected by disordered eating patterns. Jocelyn holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Appalachian State University: one in Psychology, and a second in Nutrition & Foods. She also received a Master of Science in Nutrition degree from Meredith College. Her graduate-level practicum focused on the management of eating disorders from inpatient to outpatient levels of care. Jocelyn, a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, has been working in the eating disorder field since 2013 with employment at Carolina House’s residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. She has extensive experience supporting clients both nutritionally and therapeutically, in a way that fosters emotion regulation and a connection to client’s individual values. Jocelyn approaches nutrition counseling with compassion, directness, and honesty inviting curiosity and creativity into sessions. Her client-centered and non-judgmental approach is strongly based in a weight-inclusive framework. Her goal is to safely assist individuals, and their loved ones, as they find a more peaceful relationship with food. She welcomes clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Jocelyn meets with clients in our Raleigh and Durham offices.
