Lauren Buboltz, MPH, RD, LDN, CEDRD

Lauren specializes in medical nutrition therapy for eating disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. She began working with eating disorders in 2008 and has experience in all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. Lauren first worked in research at UNC Center for Excellence in Eating Disorders. Soon after, she obtained her Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing her practicum at an inpatient unit at the South Island Eating Disorder Service in Christchurch, New Zealand. Lauren also has gained clinical experience at the Renfrew Center and Carolina House, where she was the lead dietitian at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care.  Lauren is a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) with the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp), a member of the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD) and served on the Clinical Advisory Board for Rock Recovery in Washington, DC.  Lauren is an interactive, solution-focused nutrition therapist. She uses motivational interviewing to offer a compassionate and highly personalized approach, tailored to each client.  Lauren sees clients in our Fuquay-Varina and Raleigh offices.
