Individual Nutrition Therapy with a Registered Dietitian

At Lutz & Alexander Nutrition Therapy, we offer individualized nutrition counseling designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are navigating an eating disorder, managing a chronic health condition, seeking support with disordered eating, or simply wanting to build a healthier relationship with food, our team of credentialed Registered Dietitians is here to help. We provide in-person and telehealth appointments, making it easy to find nutrition therapy near you — or from the comfort of your home.

What Is Individual Nutrition?

Individual nutrition counseling is a one-on-one process between you and a Registered Dietitian. Unlike generic diet advice or calorie-counting apps, personalized nutrition therapy addresses the full picture of your health: your medical history, your relationship with food, your lifestyle, your values, and your goals. Sessions are collaborative, non-judgmental, and completely tailored to your unique needs.

Your first appointment, typically 85-90 minutes, allows your dietitian to complete a thorough initial assessment and gather the information needed to develop your individualized nutrition therapy plan. Follow-up visits are typically 55-60 minutes and may occur weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on your needs and goals. We are always willing to communicate and collaborate with your other healthcare providers — your physician, therapist, psychiatrist, or specialist — to ensure your care is coordinated and comprehensive.
