Jocelyn (she/her) specializes in nutrition therapy for individuals affected by eating disorders or disordered eating. She has a special interest in Diabetes and PCOS care and enjoys working with adults, teenagers, and caregivers of young children. In 2013, Jocelyn began her work in the eating disorder field with employment at Carolina House’s residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. She has been working in the private practice setting since 2017 where she continues to utilize weight-inclusive care, Intuitive Eating, and responsive feeding practices. Jocelyn has extensive experience supporting clients both nutritionally and therapeutically while using a trauma-informed lens. Her goal is to provide highly individualized care for clients as they find a more peaceful and sustainable relationship with food. When desired: loved ones are also welcome into nutrition sessions. A Raleigh native, Jocelyn received her Master’s degree in Nutrition from Meredith College. She obtained two undergraduate degrees from Appalachian State University: one in Nutrition, and a second in Psychology.
Jocelyn now lives in Portland, OR. She is licensed in Oregon and North Carolina, and provides telehealth for residents in: OR, NC, WA, and states where a license for nutrition therapy is not required. Feel free to inquire about your state! For now, Jocelyn sees clients via telehealth sessions only 8:30am-5:00pm PST.
