She earned her Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship at Northern Illinois University, where she also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Her previous work experience includes roles in school nutrition and public health. In her most recent role, she worked as a Community Nutrition Specialist for the Durham County Department of Public Health. She utilizes motivational interviewing and a non-diet approach in her work with clients. Karen sees clients in our via telehealth.
