Megan (she/her) provides compassionate, evidence-based nutrition therapy for children, adolescents, and adults affected by disordered eating and eating disorders. She is dedicated to supporting individuals in their recovery by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing relationships with food, movement, and body can take root.
Megan earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her dietetic internship at Duke University Hospital and is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) to deepen her expertise in this field.
Before joining Lutz, Alexander, and Associates Nutrition Therapy, Megan gained diverse experience in nutrition through roles in collegiate athletics, public health, and clinical care, including transplant and cystic fibrosis at Duke Hospital. Most recently, Megan has been working in the outpatient setting for several years providing nutrition therapy to individuals with eating disorders and disordered eating, further developing her specialization in this area.
Megan brings a warm, collaborative presence to her work and is deeply committed to a client-centered approach. She uses evidence-based nutrition interventions and draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing techniques to support clients in building sustainable, values-driven change. Megan sees clients in our Raleigh and RTP offices and via telehealth.
