Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences: Physiology & Metabolism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also completed a Certificate in Global Health. Her professional experience includes serving as the Nutrition Program Coordinator for a network of schools and children’s homes in the Dominican Republic, and working as an outpatient diabetes educator and dietitian at a Native American Tribal Health clinic. Taylor has experience in both individual counseling and community outreach, and completed training in Trauma Competent Care during her time in the Dominican Republic. Her work across diverse cultural settings gives her a unique perspective on how culture, identity, and lived experience shape eating patterns. She is committed to honoring each person’s relationship with food, including dietary preferences and traditions. Taylor sees patients via telehealth.
