Eating Disorders: A Parent & Caregiver Introduction
- Are you navigating a recent eating disorder diagnosis for your child or teen?

Our parent informational group is designed to help parents and caregivers gain a clear understanding of what to expect and how to support their child in eating disorder treatment.
In these four 90-minute sessions, you’ll learn:
- What to expect in each phase of treatment
- The critical role parents play in recovery from an Family Based Treatment (FBT) informed approach
- Practical tips for getting started and supporting your child at home
- Answers to common questions and concerns
Led by a facilitator experienced in treating children and teens, this session provides a supportive environment and resources to help you take the next step with confidence.
Who it’s for:
Parents and primary caregivers of children or teens recently diagnosed with an eating disorder.
Note: This group series is informational and not a therapy or support group, though resources for ongoing support will be provided.
